VEED is an online video editor that runs in the browser. Its best known feature is automatic subtitles, which are unlimited on paid plans under a fair use limit of 50 hours a month, with subtitle styles, SRT export and translation into many languages. Around that it offers a timeline editor, a screen and webcam recorder, a teleprompter, resizing for social platforms, background noise removal, stock audio and video, templates, brand kits, text to speech voices, AI avatars and dubbing.
That makes VEED a good fit for social media managers, marketers and educators who take existing recordings and turn them into captioned, on-brand posts quickly. VideoMake does none of that. We have no timeline, no subtitles, no voices, no avatars, no templates and no recorder.
VEED also sells AI video generation. Its credits can be spent on third-party models such as Google Veo, from inside the editor or its AI Playground. If you already pay for VEED Pro and only need a generated shot now and then, use those credits before adding another subscription.
The case for a separate generator is when footage, not editing, is the bottleneck: you publish often, the stock library keeps giving you the same clips, and you want to render specific scenes, such as your product in a setting you cannot shoot, as a regular part of production.
