Screen Studio cost per year for a team
Screen Studio has no multi-seat license and no volume discount, so a team is simply seats times list price. The terms also say one login is for one person, though a seat can be handed to whoever replaces a leaver.

Monthly breaks even at month four
Three months of monthly billing cost $87, four cost $116, already more than a full year at $108. Monthly only makes sense for a project that ends inside three months.
Fees are non-refundable
The terms of service say fees are non-refundable and renewals charge the same card automatically. Cancel before the renewal date if a seat is no longer used.
Four things to check before buying Screen Studio seats
Mac only
macOS Ventura 13.1 or later is recommended, and the FAQ says there are no near-future plans for Windows. Windows users on the team need a different recorder.
One person per login
Seats can be reassigned to a replacement, and a license moves between Macs with Disconnect device in the dashboard.
No volume pricing
Ten seats cost ten times one seat. There is no business tier, admin console or invoice-based team plan on the pricing page.
Local processing
Recordings, transcription and enhancements run on the Mac. Cloud features such as links are optional, which helps security reviews.

The shot Screen Studio cannot record
Screen Studio makes the screen part of a launch video look great. The opening shot usually is not a screen at all: a customer at a cafe opening the app, a warehouse team scanning a package, a founder at a whiteboard. Nobody films those for a feature launch, so they get skipped.
